The Centre for Project Management (CPM) at the University of Limerick was established in 1991 and is a constituent unit of the Kemmy Business School. It is the only centre of its type in Ireland that specialises in the provision of education and training in this discipline. Our programmes are designed to develop comprehensive business knowledge and skills to conceive, plan, implement and complete projects successfully. The Centre has led the development of alternative methods of study that fit into changing lifestyles and meets the needs of different business sectors. The Centre's Mission is to be a leading National, European and International centre for the advancement, dissemination and application of project management knowledge in the private and public sectors.

The CPM's particular mission is to transform project management expertise into viable practical solutions for the operational benefit of organisations and companies.

The essence of the CPM's focus involves teaching, research, training and consultancy all undertaken in a manner that requires close contact with industry, the institutions and government. The CPM, through the provision of high quality services, intends to generate net income and sponsorship thereby enabling appropriate levels of reinvestment in people and facilities.
