Arts Council Digital Artist in Residence at University of Limerick 2026-2027
The Arts Council and the Digital Media and Arts Research Centre (DMARC), University of Limerick, are inviting applications from mid-career and established Digital Artists to take part in a Digital Artist in Residence programme.
The Digital Artist in Residence has been established as part of the Arts Council’s Digital Arts Policy. Now in its second year, following a pilot programme in 2025, the Residency focuses on providing a stimulating environment for the resident Digital Artists and affording them a degree of financial support to concentrate on their own digital arts practice.

CMC/DMARC Sonic Arts Residency 2026-2027
The Digital Media and Arts Research Centre (DMARC) and CMC Ireland are delighted to announce the second year of the Sonic Arts Residency Programme at the UL Electronic Music Studio for 2026/27. The CMC/DMARC Sonic Arts Residency offers an exciting opportunity for Irish and international composers and sound artists to develop their creative practice and foster experimentation using the University of Limerick’s world-class facilities.
These include: The Electronic Music Studio (EMS) featuring both digital and analogue workflows, including a bespoke Buchla 200e; A 32-channel immersive sound lab (SpADE) and a makerspace to support electronics and fabrication requirements. The facility also provides a range of well-equipped recording studios with a wide selection of microphones and production hardware and software
