Meet Eoin

Eoin came to us from a background of secondary teaching, and blew us away with his excellent research and prototyping skills. His project focused on designing for supporting educational experiences for autistic students in secondary school.

Eoin carried out an in-depth research process, engaging in an extensive literature review and interview process with stakeholders. This resulted in a rich ideation process where Eoin explored a breadth of possible design responses.

Eoin settled on supporting writing and note-taking for students. His final design response was a smart-enabled, ergonomically-designed grip that logged and supported student's sensory regulation and writing processes.

He also prototyped a companion app which allows the user to connect to a wider social network of writers, as well as allowing input from teachers and parents.
