Arts Council Digital Artist in Residence at CSIS / Digital Media and Arts Research Centre (DMARC)
The Arts Council and the Digital Media and Arts Research Centre (DMARC) are inviting applications from mid-career and established Digital Artists to take part in a Digital Artist in Residence programme. The award is €18,000 with the artist being supported by the facilities available at CSIS, UL which include a maker space, a multichannel surround sound environment, recording studios, immersive technology lab with green screen room and mocap technologies as well as access to the wider community at UL.
The Digital Artist in Residence has been established as part of the Arts Council’s Digital Arts Policy. Now in its second year, following a pilot programme in 2025, the Residency focuses on providing a stimulating environment for the resident Digital Artists and affording them a degree of financial support to concentrate on their own digital arts practice.
