The Department of Nursing and Midwifery is holding a workshop on “Taking Care of Your Wellbeing: Flourishing on Your PhD Journey" for all Postgraduate Research Students (PGRs) 

Join us for this insightful workshop dedicated to the wellbeing and mental health of PhD and Research Masters candidates

This session will explore the unique challenges faced during the PhD journey and provide practical strategies for maintaining a healthy balance between academic responsibilities and personal life.

Participants will learn about the importance of self-care, stress management techniques, and the value of seeking support from peers and mentors. The workshop will also include interactive activities designed to promote relaxation and mental resilience.

By attending, you’ll gain valuable tools to enhance your mental health, ensuring you can thrive both academically and personally. Remember, taking care of your wellbeing is essential for long-term success and fulfilment.

There will be Tea/Coffee/Pastries available from 2pm.

You will have a chance to meet other PGRs.

Members of the Doctoral College will be present to address any concerns you may have.
