University of Limerick deplores and condemns the invasion of Ukraine.
We add our voices to those of millions around the world calling for an end to this barbaric and entirely unjust military incursion of a sovereign nation.
We hold the people of Ukraine in our hearts and minds at this dark and terrifying time.
It is heart-breaking for all of us to witness scenes of war on European soil and to consider the devastation of families from the entire region facing loss and upheaval.
We will engage with colleagues here in Ireland and across the Eastern European region to establish ways to offer our support.
