Brightspace is UL’s Virtual Learning Environment. Brightspace is where you will find information and resources relating to your assigned modules.

Brightspace offers a range of features that facilitate online learning and course administration. It serves as a centralised hub where students can access course materials, participate in discussions, submit assignments, take quizzes and exams, and receive grades and feedback from their instructors.

It supports both real-time and self-paced learning environments where instructors can choose to deliver live lectures and virtual classes or create pre-recorded lessons and allow students to learn at their own pace. Brightspace also includes features for collaboration and interaction among students, such as discussion boards, group projects, and peer feedback.

This can include course content such as.

  • Class Announcements & Notifications.
  • Lecture Slides & Materials (PowerPoint/ PDF Slides, etc.)
  • Video Material hosted on Panopto.
