International Summer School Programme

The 3 week summer school, where you will choose from 7 diverse modules carefully curated to ignite your passion and curiosity, an exhilarating and interactive syllabus which is guaranteed to keep you engaged throughout your unforgettable stay, all while taking part in excursions and daily events hosted by fellow UL students. 

Faculty Led Programme

The faculty led summer school, where your faculty will collaborate with UL Summer School Team to curate a tailored experience to meet your unique needs, wants, and expectations. Students will take part in excursions and daily events hosted by fellow UL students. This partnership will allow for your students to take part in a thrilling, cultural, and, academic experience.

STEM Research Programme 

The 8 week STEM Research Programme, offers an unforgettable experience, where you'll have the opportunity to delve into a myriad of cutting-edge research topics and projects that align with your interests and passion. With unrivaled access to state-of-the-art facilities and expert mentorship, you'll thrive in an environment that fosters creativity and innovation. Beyond the lab, we have a host of exciting events and exhilarating excursions planned, allowing you to immerse yourself in Irish culture and create unforgettable memories with like-minded peers. 

With more than 20 years of experience running the Summer School, we aim to provide you with a fun, engaging and memorable study abroad experience in a safe, and friendly environment. This is your chance to immerse yourself in the heart and soul of Ireland, forging lifelong memories and friendships along the way. 

Study: Pick a module to study for 3 weeks (all modules offer a hands on and fun experience!). 

Exposure: Students will get to experience a unique, immersive, academic, and cultural trip, with an opportunity to pursue academic interests.

Accommodation: Guaranteed on-campus accommodation, living with other international students in one of the eight purpose-built student villages.

Excursions: Students will have the opportunity to experience cultural and historical excursions.

Events: Students will have fun daily evening events organised and ran by your designated UL student guides.

Meals: Students will get breakfast, lunch and dinner provided for them Monday to Friday for their entire stay, excluding the bank holiday and the day of departure. 

Orientation: Students will receive UL Welcome Packs and take part in a tailored orientation programme in which they will learn all they need to know about being a student in the University of Limerick.

Airport Transport: Airport transfers from Shannon Airport to the UL campus will be provided. You will be greeted and accompanied by your UL student guides.

Academic Transcript: Each student will have an official UL transcript sent to their home university.
