Getting to UL

On-campus accommodation move-in dates for students commencing studies in 2022/23 is Sunday 28th August.

You should therefore plan to arrive to Ireland on either Sunday 28th or Monday 29th August.

Orientation will commence on Tuesday 30th August and the 2022/23 Autumn semester begins on Monday 5th September.

Please refer to the University of Limerick Academic Calendar for 2022/23 for further information regarding term dates.

Term commencement dates for new undergraduate students for the 2022/23 academic year will be confirmed shortly, with details of these dates and when you should plan to arrive in Ireland communicated to you via email in due course.

UL Global would strongly advise students, where possible, to book flights which will arrive into Ireland between 8am - 8pm in order to avail of public transport options from Dublin, Cork, and Shannon Airport and reduce the need for overnight hotel reservations.

The availability of public transport options outside of these hours will be more limited and students may encounter significant wait times between bus services.

Airport collections will be available from Shannon Airport only on Sunday 28th and Monday 29th August from 8am to 7pm each day.

Students arriving into Cork and Dublin Airport will be provided with further information regarding public transport options in July.

Further details regarding Shannon Airport collection services for students commencing studies in September 2022 will be confirmed in due course.
