The Educational Assistive Technology Centre (EATC) works to support students and staff with any assistive technology (AT) they need to overcome barriers to education and work. Primarily, we work with students with disabilities to ensure they can participate fully and equitably in their coursework.

We conduct needs assessments with students to determine software and hardware solutions to their learning needs. We work to source any necessary equipment and software for these students, and then we work with students to ensure they have the required training to get the most out of the tools available to them.

The EATC also works on projects to increase awareness and foster a culture of accessible practice. We actively engage in research projects to discover and implement new technologies on campus to benefit our campus community.
