Arrangement/set-up details

Please note the arrangements below for the day to run as smoothly as possible:

Set-up: 9.30 am – 11am

Opening times: 11.30 am – 2pm

Dismantling: 2pm – 3pm; we would ask exhibitors to stay until 2pm as students in lectures may attend the Fair after 1.30pm.

Material drop-off

The venue for the Careers Fair is the Main Building - EG010.

Please review the campus map showing the venue's location (Building No 13).

Direction signs will be in place on the day. It will be possible to park (for a short period only) at the back entrance of the Main Building which is accessible through car park P20, to off-load stands and material.

As this is a restricted area, vehicles must be moved once the material has been off-loaded.

Deliveries/storage of material

If you plan to send your exhibition stand or supplies of material in advance, the courier must be given clear instructions.

The stand and material should be sent directly to the UL Careers Service, marked 'Materials for the UL Careers Fair', stating which day you are going, eg, 'Science, Engineering & ICT Fair' with your company name clearly visible. Deliveries will be accepted between 9am and 5pm on the Monday and Tuesday before the Fairs.

Couriers

If using a courier to deliver your stand, please make them aware of the delivery instructions above; this will avoid confusion on the day. In previous years, we have experienced problems with materials incorrectly labelled or sent to the wrong location.

This arises when couriers are used, which can cause great inconvenience to the exhibitor concerned on the day.

On arrival at the Main Building, the courier should ask for directions to the Careers Service E0019 at main reception.

Stand/space allocation

The space allocated to each stand is 3m x 2.5m, with a table and two chairs. We recommend that stands be set up 30 minutes before opening to avoid congestion.

NB: Promotional products such as balloons and drones are not allowed as this can interfere with the fire suppression systems.

Broadband capability

There will be wireless internet access available in the exhibition hall. Due to the large volume of exhibitors, we advise that video clips be downloaded to laptops in advance to avoid congestion.
