Dr Florence Le Baron-Earle and Dr Marie-Thérèse Batardière from the School of Modern Languages and Applied Linguistics have contributed an entry to The Palgrave Encyclopedia of Computer-Assisted Language Learning (CALL) defining the notion of ‘intercultural literacy’. Their work highlights how CALL, alongside face-to-face encounters, provides unprecedented opportunities for learners to foster sustainable dialogues and achieve a sense of belonging within a larger global community.
