Academic Year 2026/27 Arrival Dates
The earliest check-in date for the Academic Year 2026/27 is Sunday 30th August 2026 and for the Spring Semester is Sunday 17th January 2027. Unfortunately we are unable to facilitate an earlier check-in date. There are alternative accommodation options available in the Castletroy and Limerick region available.
Arrival Information
When you arrive at UL, there are a few things you need to know about checking in to your University accommodation
Before Arrival:
- The deposit and first instalment of rent should be paid in full
- The online induction should be completed.
- Download the 'UL Campus Life' app from your app store. Android Link. iPhone – you will use this app for package deliveries, announcements, maintenance, events and more.
On Arrival:
- Unless previously organised, check in will commence from 12pm on your arrival day
- Students should go directly to their village receptions to collect the keys to their accommodation
- You will be asked to pay any outstanding balance before collecting your keys
- Our Village Team will welcome you to your new home and be available to answer any questions you may have about your residence
- Remember to complete your inventory checklist by Friday of Week 1
Departure Information
Pre-Departure
- Ensure your bedroom and common areas are left clean
- Remove all personal belongings - each semester, we run a donation drive. All non-perishable items in good condition can be delivered to your Village Reception to be donated to local charities
- Switch off all lights and appliances before leaving
- Make sure to update your bank information online to facilitate your deposit return
Departure
- Drop your key to Village Reception to check out
- If you are leaving out of hours, just place your key in an envelope with your name and student ID and post it through your Village Reception letterbox
- Remember to complete your Departure Survey!
- Your room will be audited and deposit balance returned 6 - 8 weeks after departure
