Join us for a special UL Alumni Gathering in the Washington, DC area. Get ready for an enjoyable evening filled with conversations, music, and song, providing the perfect opportunity to reconnect with fellow UL graduates, former students, and friends in a relaxed and engaging setting.
We are honoured to have esteemed academics from UL's renowned Irish World Academy of Music and Dance attending and performing, including Dr Sandra Joyce, Dean of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. Dr Joyce is not only a respected academic but also a highly accomplished singer and bodhrán player. Joining her will be Dr Niall Keegan, Director of the B.A. Irish Traditional Music and Dance Studies at UL, known for his remarkable talent as a traditional flute player and his contributions to Irish music.
In addition, Niamh Kavanagh from UL Global will provide valuable updates on the latest developments at the University and share plans for future initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity to gain deeper insights into the growth and direction of your alma mater.
Immerse yourself in Irish culture, catch up with old friends, and expand your professional network in Washington, DC. The gathering will take place at Kirwans on the Wharf on Thursday 15 June, starting from 6 pm. Attendance is free, and complimentary food and drinks will be provided.
