
Graduates from UL, NIHE, or Thomond College in a year ending in 0 or 5—1980, 1985, 1990, 1995, 2000, 2005, 2010, 2015, and 2020—this is your chance to celebrate with your class!
For the first time, we’re opening up access to some of UL’s most iconic and newly developed spaces through a series of mini tours. It’s a great chance to revisit old haunts, discover what’s new and experience just how much UL has evolved since your time on campus. From the new state-of-the-art Student Centre and the expanded Glucksman Library to the novelty of a campus road train, we’re excited to welcome you back in a way we have never done before.
Ticket Pricing: Tickets are priced at €40, which includes admission to the reunion, optional tours, a BBQ meal and a drink. Be sure to book early, as tickets are limited and will not be available on the day.

REGISTRATION
12–6pm | Foyer, New Student Centre
Check in to collect your name badge, goodie bag, and vouchers for the Reunion Barbecue. The UL Alumni team will be there to greet you and guide you through the day.
WELCOME RECEPTION
12–1pm | Foyer, New Student Centre
Start the day off with tea, coffee and sandwiches in a relaxed setting. Reconnect with classmates, meet UL faculty and staff, and enjoy a warm welcome back to campus.
TOUR THE NEW STUDENT CENTRE
From 1pm | New Student Centre
Step inside UL’s brand new four-storey Student Centre with a guided tour led by Paul Lee, Head of Student Engagement. Explore the landscaped roof garden, auditorium, Clubs & Societies zones and more.
IRISH CHAMBER ORCHESTRA PERFORMANCE
2pm | New Student Centre
Enjoy a special performance by musicians from the Irish Chamber Orchestra which is based on campus, a highlight of the afternoon, brought to you by one of Ireland’s leading ensembles.
EXPLORE THE GLUCKSMAN LIBRARY
2.30pm & 3.30pm | Glucksman Library
Since its major expansion in 2018, the Glucksman Library has evolved into a vibrant hub for digital scholarship and innovation. Join library staff for a guided tour of The Edge—a state-of-the-art space featuring a makerspace, media labs, a green screen studio, and Ireland’s only library-based automated storage system. Discover wellness tech like energy pods and study bikes, and see how students today are using 3D printing, podcasting, and data visualisation as part of their learning journey.
BER ANGLEY’S ALTERNATIVE TOUR

Join UL legend Ber Angley, former Ents Manager at the Students’ Union for a behind-the-scenes glimpse of University Concert Hall (UCH) and more. Expect stories, surprises and nostalgia.
UL SPORT & ARENA TOUR

Take a guided tour of UL’s world-class sports facilities and see why the University is considered Ireland’s Sports Campus. Explore the UL Sport Arena, home to the National 50-metre Olympic-standard swimming pool, as well as the National Strength & Conditioning Centre, indoor jogging and sprint tracks, multi-purpose courts and the newly added 21-metre climbing wall - the tallest in Ireland!

Join Maria Munroe, CTO Department of Chemical Sciences, for a guided tour of familiar labs and new features, including the Interactive Periodic Table, a large-scale, interactive display – the first of its kind in any third-level institution in Ireland.
CAMPUS TRAIN TOURS

Hop aboard the campus road train and take in just how much UL has changed. Running throughout the day, you’ll pass many of the University’s key landmarks and newly developed areas across our 345 acre campus. We’re excited to share this new experience with you —no walking required!
REUNION BARBECUE AT THE STABLES
6pm | The Stables Club
Round off the day with a relaxed and sociable evening at the Reunion Barbecue. Enjoy a barbecue meal and drink as you unwind and catch up with classmates in one of UL’s most familiar spots.
PARTY ON IN THE STABLES
Stay on as the DJ takes over and the celebrations continue into the night. Whether you’re reminiscing over a drink or heading to the dance floor, the night is what you make it.
ON CAMPUS ACCOMMODATION
When you are all partied out, you won’t have far to go. For the first time, you can stay overnight in student accommodation at Dromroe Village, right on campus. Rooms are ensuite with high-speed WiFi and include a continental breakfast — all for €70 per person per night. Please note: accommodation must be booked separately here. Rooms are single occupancy, if you would like to share a room, please email conference@ul.ie directly with your request, they will offer you a double rate and send you a payment link to book.
