Orientation Schedule

11am-12.30pm: Coffee & Chats with the Full Degree Team

Meet with the International Student Recruitment Team for coffee and chats

Location: The Stables Club

12.30pm-3pm: Parkway Shopping Centre Trip 

First bus departing for Parkway at 12.30pm and running until 1pm

Last bus departs Parkway for UL at 2.45pm

4.30pm-6pm: Speed Friending

Make a new friend in 10 minutes at our Friendfest Challenge: Gel at UL

10am-11am: Full Degree Welcome Presentation

Practical & informative session covering lots of topics on all you need to know during your time at UL.

11am-12.30pm: Visa & Immigration Workshop

A practical & informative session about your upcoming immigration requirements.

Location: University Concert Hall

5pm: Trad Night

Enjoy traditional Irish Music and Dance with a live band and dancers. Refreshments provided

Run with the UL Global team and your new friends around our beautiful campus

1pm-3pm: Go Gaelic - GAA Taster Session

Play some Gaelic Football - no skills or experience required. The session will be split into two 1hr sessions.

Comedian Steve Bennett will make you laugh while playing this game and you might even win a prize!

7pm-8pm: Fitness Class

Join the class to get fit for the semester ahead and use the amazing sports facilities on campus

7.45am: Bus Tour to the Aran Islands

Come and discover the beautiful Aran Islands.
Spend over 5 hours on Inis Oir, the closest Aran Island to the mainland. Located at the mouth of Galway City.
