10:00-11:00: COFFEE & CHATS WITH THE STUDY ABROAD TEAM

Welcome to the University of Limerick! Join us for our coffee session and get to know your fellow Study Abroad students and the Study Abroad team.

Please note, this is a mandatory session for Study Abroad students who have arrived and are available to attend at this time. We understand that you may still be travelling.

10:45-11:30: MEET YOUR FRESHMAN COORDINATOR

Join the Freshman Team at this meet and greet session.

Location: Jean Monet Theatre, Main building

This is a mandatory session for Freshman students ONLY.

11:30-13:00: ORIENTATION OVERVIEW AND "A BIT OF CRAIC" ALL ABOUT IRISH CULTURE 

Welcome to UL!

Join us at this fun session where we fill you in on everything that you need to know about the orientation week ahead and Irish Culture!  

Please note, this is a mandatory session  for Study Abroad Freshman Students who have arrived and are available to attend at this time. We understand that you may still be travelling.

14:00-16:00: CHEFFING IT UP IRISH STYLE

Learn how to create some healthy, budget-friendly dishes!

Location: CSG001- Computer Science Building

09:00-09:30: IMMIGRATION INFORMATION SESSION FOR NON-EU STUDENTS

Please note, this is a mandatory session for Non-EU students.

10:00-11:30: SEMESTER ESSENTIALS:STUDENT ID CARDS, EMAIL, WI-FI SET UP AND UL SYSTEMS AND INTRODUCTION TO TIMETABLES

Essential tasks that you must complete at the beginning of the semester, including uploading a photo for your Student ID.

11:30-12:00: ENGLISH AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE (EFL) INFORMATION

Mandatory Session for  students taking English as a Foreign Language (EFL) modules.

12:00-15:00: PARKWAY SHOPPING CENTRE TRIP

Departing from Foundation Building* Buses will rotate every 20 minutes. First bus at 12pm running until 1pm, last bus back to campus at 14:45pm.

The Scavenger Hunting challenge will involve discovering a list of 20+ clues/tasks and taking photo evidence to prove it. Complete the most photo tasks to be in with the chance of winning prizes!

Shuttle service as follows:

Shuttle service, first bus 11am, buses will run every 15 minutes up until 12pm sharp. Returning to campus between 2:30pm and 3:00pm

Bus Tour to Tourist Attraction
Student Life and Hynan Travel usually offer a tour each weekend for the first number of weeks of the term.

Your team will inform you each week when and where the tickets go on sale, so make sure to keep a close eye on your inbox! We will let you know during orientation when these tickers will go on sale.
