A Chartered Physiotherapist, who holds a BSc and MSc in Physiotherapy, Member of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapist, qualified in complementary therapist such as Traditional Chinese Acupuncture and Kinesiology, with over 10 years’ experience.

Having developed a special interest in pain management and complex chronic pain syndromes while undertaking my master’s degree. This led to a different therapeutic approach, specifically the impact our nervous system has on our bodies and thought patterns and vice versa, broadening her Scope of practice and trained as a Professional life coach.

“I simply love to learn and develop both personally and professionally and I try and encourage my patients to do the same. All these skills have contributed to a well-rounded Therapist, always taking on a new course or a new challenge. Current I am a member of the Practice Education team here at UL and I can bring my passion for developing self and others to the team and to the students.

When I’m not in the clinic, you’ll find me spending quality time with the people in my life. I have always been competitive and growing up I did all kinds of sports, but the one that trumped them all was rowing whether it was in the coastal waters of West Cork or the Ilen river, in Skibbereen now made famous by two inspirational brothers. This is a trait I draw on to contribute to the expansion and development of Practice education for all involved.”
