As an Associate Professor on the MSc Speech and Language Therapy (Professional Qualification) programme at UL, I lead and teach modules in Linguistics, Anatomy & Physiology and Acquired Communication Disorders.

Within UL I am an active member of the Public & Patient Involvement Research Unit.

I am interested in participatory health research and my main topic of research is post-stroke aphasia. I am additionally involved in several projects in the area of migrant health, integrated care, stroke care pathways, social inclusion, and dysphagia.
