We offer an exciting Masters of Education programme designed at the School of Education to develop your professional autonomy and with a strong focus on your personal development and the enactment of policy reforms and the integration of theory, practice, knowledge and research.
Core taught modules introduce you to contemporary issues in education and membership of a postgraduate community of critical thinkers as you learn to conduct ethical research.
The programme is in its third year and has attracted professionals in higher education, secondary schools and primary schools, e.g. teachers, school principals, tutors and teaching assistants.
All students share four core modules and develop a specialism through a thesis and two elective strand modules from options, including Leadership, Wellbeing, Mentoring and STEM education. An original research thesis is completed as part of the programme.
