Meet Aidan

I started this course with the idea that I wanted to learn how to make pretty things, and that has remained the same. However, my idea of what is “pretty” has changed. I love designing things that are functional, meaningful, and fun. I love bringing colour into everything that I do and I particularly love working with fabrics and textiles.

Periscope

Periscope is a system aimed at those working in and around soft products, particularly those who operate sewing machines regularly. It aims to encourage healthier working posture, as well as providing additional quality of life features, tied together with a digital platform that is intended to help makers improve their workflow.
