Meet Killian

Hi, my name is Killian Long, I am currently in my final year of product design and technology at The University of Limerick. I have always had a passion for design and am a strong believer in Universal design. What I personally enjoy about product design is the vast range of skills I have picked up over the past few years. I enjoy UX/UI, aspects of universal design, the user testing side of the design process as well as presenting and showcasing my work. I am proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. I am also skilled in Solidworks and Keyshot.

To get in touch with Killian you can email him.

Enso

Enso is a music therapy device which is aimed to improve the quality of life for people living with dementia by eliciting positive emotions through the shared experience of music. Enso helps the user to forget about dementia by focusing and reminiscing while enjoying and listening to music in a social and therapeutic environment.

Enso can be used in both a group environment such as a group home, but can also be used in a one-on-one setting between a patient and a carer or family member. Enso can be as much a product for a carer or family member as it is for the person living with dementia as it can rekindle a connection between the two people through the music.

Enso consists of 3 separate components; A carrier case with built-in wireless charging system, a Bluetooth speaker and the handheld components.
