ECE academics Dr Martin Hayes, Professor Dan Toal and Dr Tom Newe are now Funded Investigators in the new Confirm Science Foundation Ireland (SFI) Smart Manufacturing Research Centre. Their work focuses on secure/smart control of collaborative robotic platforms that are Industry 4.0 compatible.
