RTE Brainstorm Workshop
Tuesday, October 15, 2019

The next RTE Brainstorm workshop will take place at 10.30am in the Millstream Common Room on Tuesday, October 15.

Jim Carroll, the editor of Brainstorm, will join us to talk through how UL academics can contribute to Brainstorm and use it as an opportunity to develop their public and media profiles.

There will also be an opportunity to take part in a One on One session with Jim after the workshop to pitch an idea or discuss the potential commissioning of a piece.

Brainstorm is a space where the Irish academic and research community can contribute to public debate and comment on current affairs, offering fresh ideas and perspectives on the high profile RTE platform.

Brainstorm is a partnership between RTE and Irish third level institutions. University of Limerick is one of those institutional founding partners and UL’s Marketing and Communications division has been working closely with RTE and the other Brainstorm partners to develop this successful national platform for academic participation in public discourse.

All are welcome to attend. Can you register your interest in a one to one session with Jim – probably no more than 10-15 minutes in length, depending on demand – with
