Dr Micheál Scanlon (Dept of Chemical Sciences) and Sharone O’Loughlin, Research Support Services will present this workshop focusing on the preparation and writing of a postdoctoral fellowship proposal.

Six Government of Ireland Postdoctoral Fellows were awarded in 2017-2018 and some of these fellows and their mentors will be in attendance to talk about their experiences of the application process.

 

This event is aimed at both applicants*, future applicants and their mentors for the IRC and is highly relevant to applicants for other postdoctoral schemes. Applicants should have graduated in the five years from 31 May 2015 and 31 May 2020.

All registered participants will be supplied with a UL proposal guide and a proposal review service for this scheme. Please register with your name and your mentors name to sharone.oloughlin@ul.ie

*Note on Eligibility

An applicant must have either graduated or have been certified as having fulfilled all the requirements for the award of a doctoral degree, including the submission of the hardbound corrected thesis, within the five year period between 31 May 2015 and 31 May 2020
