Master Class for 2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowships applicants

We are currently assessing the situation in relation to the coronavirus (COVID-19). We ask everyone interested to still apply by the deadline, so that we can keep you updated and help you with your application. Please do not make any travel plans at this stage

The University of Limerick invites MSCA-IF applicants to join our support programme for Marie Curie fellowship applicants from May - Sept 2020. We normally provide a Masterclass with travel bursaries for selected applicants but this is not possible this year due to the current situation.

This support programme will provide training on proposal preparation for the 2020 Marie Skłodowska-Cure Individual Fellowships call for selected participants. The programme is open to eligible applicants who plan to submit a proposal for the 2020 call with University of Limerick as their future Host Institution and who have the support of a UL University supervisor. Researchers currently working at UL and who want to apply for a MSCA Global Fellowship are also welcome.

Support Programme

You will receive training on all aspects of your Fellowship proposal including societal and economic impact, data management, open access, ethics and responsible research, UL’s Postdoc Training Programme, opportunities for secondments, and much more. This training will help you to make your MSCA-IF proposal much more competitive. You will also work with your host supervisor on the proposal and plan a schedule of ongoing support from our Marie Curie advisors.

How to apply

Complete the Application form together with your future supervisor by 30th April 2020 at 5pm, and send it to mariecurie@ul.ie.

You will be informed within ten days whether or not your application has been accepted. The EU deadline for applications is Sept 9th and if successful, the two year fellowship may start anytime from 1 June 2021 to 1 September 2022.
