Master Class for Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships applicants

The University of Limerick invites MSCA-PF applicants to join our support programme for Marie Curie fellowship applicants from May - Sept 2021. We normally provide a Masterclass with travel bursaries for selected applicants but this is not possible due to the current pandemic.

This support programme will provide training on proposal preparation for the 2021 Marie Skłodowska-Cure Postdoctoral Fellowships call for selected participants. The programme is open to eligible applicants who plan to submit a proposal for the 2021 call with University of Limerick as their future Host Institution and who have the support of a UL University supervisor. Researchers currently working at UL and who want to apply for a MSCA Global Fellowship are also welcome.

Support Programme

You will receive training on all aspects of your Fellowship proposal including societal and economic impact, data management, open access, ethics and responsible research, UL’s Postdoc Training Programme, opportunities for secondments, and much more. This training will help you to make your MSCA-PF proposal much more competitive. You will also work with your host supervisor on the proposal and plan a schedule of ongoing support from our Marie Curie advisors.

How to apply

Complete the Application form together with your future supervisor by 14th May 2021 at 5pm and send it to

You will be informed within ten days whether or not your application has been accepted. The EU deadline for applications is expected to be Sept 15th and if successful, the two year fellowship may start anytime from 1 June 2022 to 1 September 2023.

Please note that because the MSCA-PF call for 2021 is delayed until May 18th by the European Commission, official documents are not yet available. Therefore, we are working on limited information. Once the official documents have been made available, successful applicants will be updated accordingly.
