Ms. Elaine Murray


Elaine graduated from the University of Limerick with a BSc (hons) in Physiotherapy in 2008. Elaine has worked in the acute care setting across all clinical areas, primarily in rehabilitation since 2008. In 2015, she also worked in a palliative and community care setting. She completed an MSc in Weight Management from the University of Chester in 2011. In 2017, she commenced working as a Regional Placement Facilitator in Physiotherapy. Her research interests include physical activity and behaviour change, models of practice education and physiotherapy in palliative care.

Research Interests

Elaine is an early researcher with interests in models of practice education, physical activity and behaviour change, physiotherapy in palliative care

Teaching Interests

I contribute to the teaching on Preparation for Practice Education module and the Physiotherapy Practice Education modules.
