Dominika graduated with a MSc in Speech & Language Therapy and a MSc in Pedagogy from the Academy of Education in Warsaw, Poland. Dominika has over 15 years of clinical experience working with both adult and paediatric populations. In 2015 Dominika was awarded a Research Training Fellowship from the Health Research Board for her PhD project investigating the experiences of dysphagia in Motor Neurone Disease using Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis. Dominika was awarded her PhD in Medicine and Health from Univeristy College Cork (February 2018).
Dominika's research interests are predominantly in the field of neurology, neurogenic communication disorders, palliative care, dysphagia, and caregivers.
