Jan Frohburg studied architecture in Weimar, London, Zurich and Chicago. Practicing architect and assistant lecturer in Weimar. Guest lecturer in Alexandria, Virginia. At present, lecturer at the newly established School of Architecture at the University of Limerick (SAUL) in Ireland. Research interests include design pedagogy, material culture and the spatial expression of Modernity, focusing on spatial concepts characteristic to the works of Mies van der Rohe.
