Biography
I completed a BA in English and Modern Languages and New Technologies of Communication at the University of Deusto (Spain). Subsequently, I completed my MA in Hispanic Linguistics at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Finally, I completed my PhD in Hispanic Linguistics also at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
My research interests focus mainly on Bilingualism, methodological issues in Code-Switching research, language contact and Syntax. I am also interested in second, third and heritage language teaching and learning.
