Biography

Dr. Martina O'Keeffe completed her PhD on the role of pericytes in tumour angiogenesis in the University of Ulster in 2003, following which she took up post-doctoral and research fellow positions in University College Dublin and at the University of Limerick. Martina has been a Senior Technical Officer in the Department of Biological Sciences at UL since 2017 where she supports both undergraduate labs and postgraduate research.
