Dr. William Addessi

Biography

Dr. William Addessi is a lecturer (tenured) in Macroeconomics at the University of Limerick. In the previous years he worked as assistant professor at University of Sassari, researcher at the Italian National Institute of Statistics (Istat), and as post-doc at the University of Rome “La Sapienza”. He completed his doctoral studies at the University of Rome 3 in 2008 with a dissertation about Dynamic Stochastic General Equilibrium (DSGE) models. He obtained the Italian National Scientific Qualification as associate professor in Economic Policy (13/A2) in 2014 and in Economics (13/A1) in 2018. William’s primary areas of research are multi-sectoral macroeconomics, labour market, and productivity estimation. He has published in Oxford Bulletin of Economics and Statistics, Economics Letters, Economic Modelling, B.E. Journal of Macroeconomics, Journal of Financial Stability and in other international academic journals.
