Dr. Matteo Lusi
Biography
Matteo obtained his Laurea in Chimica from the University of Bologna (Italy) in 2005 and his PhD from the University of Bristol (UK) in 2010. He worked as a postdoc in Stellenbosch University (South Africa) and in New York University - Abu Dhabi (UAE) before moving to Limerick in 2014.His research interests include molecular crystallography, solid-state reactions, and solid solutions.
At the end of 2017 Matteo had published 45 peer reviewed papers 1 editorial commentary, 1 conference paper 1 book chapter and 1 patent.He was awarded with a Claude Leon Foundation Postdoctoral Fellowship in 2009 and he is currently funded through a Starting Investigator Research Grant from Science Foundation Ireland.
