Bernal Institute Research Day

The Bernal Institute, which hosts a multidisciplinary team of world-leading material scientists and engineers at the University of Limerick, will be holding its Annual Research day on Thursday 5 December. The purpose of the Bernal Research Day is to communicate and share our renowned and award winning research through our chosen theme this year of ‘Sustainable futures within the areas of science, research and careers’.

The Research Day will feature a panel discussion on career development with industry after PhD, a keynote speech from the acclaimed researcher Prof Mike Zaworotko and his team on why crystals will save the world, a Research and Entrepreneurship event , a celebration of and discussion about the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions at UL and of course the always popular research awards.
