Student Exit Survey

The 2021 UL Student Exit Survey is open to graduating students

Students - if you are due to graduate, you should have received an email from exitsurvey@ul.ie inviting you to participate in the exit survey. Congratulations to the winners of our One4All vouchers who completed the survey before the 24th May: Natasha O'Riordan, Seaghán Hickey, Breege O'Dwyer, Michael Burke, Gary Jordan.

A central theme in the university's strategic plan is building on our achievements and to provide a highly engaged learning experience for every one of our students by enhancing the student experience. Each year, all students that are due to graduate are invited to participate in the UL Student Exit Survey (based on the UK’s National Student Survey). This survey gives students the opportunity to reflect on their time at UL and give feedback on their unique student experiences.

2019 Response Rate 24%
2018 Response Rate 28%
2017 Response Rate 32%
2016 Response Rate 32%

In addition to their overall satisfaction with UL and their course, students are asked how satisfied they are with each of the following areas:

  • Teaching and Learning
  • Assessment and Feedback
  • Academic Support
  • (Course) Organisation and Management
  • Learning Resources
  • Personal Development
  • Work Placements

The results of these surveys are taken very seriously by UL and resources are invested in the areas identified as most in need of improvement.
