I chose to undertake the M.Sc. in Psychological science at the University of Limerick because of the broad range of modules offered and also the excellent sport and leisure facilities available on the university campus. My main interest was in health psychology therefore the module in Exercise and health psychology really appealed to me. I was additionally able to choose to work with a health psychologist as a supervisor for my major research project. The teaching on the course was first-rate and the lecturers were extremely approachable, encouraging and always available to answer questions or provide feedback. There are also great academic supports provided by the university for graduate students, with workshops offered by the writing centre, the library and the graduate school. The lecturers in the psychology department are world class researchers and there is a great enthusiasm for research, as a consequence half of the Masters class of this year have stayed on to do PhD research.
