Theories of Psychosocial Assessment and Care

This module examines the theories and guiding principles of psychosocial assessment and interventions. It concentrates on the role of the nurse at specialist/advanced practice levels in individualised person-centred care. There is a strong focus on developing and enhancing clinical skills and a critical understanding of assessment and case formulation with a particular focus on evidence-based psychosocial interventions.
