Management and Co-Ordination of Gerontology Care

The purpose of this module is to provide the student with the opportunity to develop knowledge and expertise in the provision of care to the older person. This module explores the implementation, coordination, monitoring and evaluation of gerontological care. Concepts of person-centred care, adaptation, self-determination, advocacy, teaching and interdisciplinary teamwork are explored.
