Introduction
The overall aim of the Master of Science in Nursing is to provide registered nurses with the opportunity to develop and enhance their knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to care for patients/clients to the highest professional standards across the health care continuum. The programme offers a range of modules grounded in a body of evidence-based knowledge that promotes excellence in nursing practice to allow the student meet their individual needs. An essential element of the programme is the application of the specific modules to the students clinical and practice environment. Successful completion of the programme will provide students with the academic qualifications necessary for enhancing their professional role in the healthcare environment.
