Allocations Team

Allocations Team

The clinical allocations office is located on the Ground Floor of the Health Sciences Building - HSG-002.  The role of the Clinical Allocations Office in the University of Limerick is to ensure that each nursing and midwifery student is provided the opportunity to gain experience in the clinical areas stipulated in Bord Altranais agus Cnáimhseachais na hEireann Requirements and Standards (2005).  Pre-placement requirements, such as Mandatory Training, Health Screening and Vaccinations programmes are also co-ordinated from this office. The clinical allocations team strives to ensure that students are furnished with clinical allocations at least one month in advance of the commencement date for clinical placement.  We in the allocations office would welcome and encourage students to communicate with us, asking questions and engaging with the office. We are here to support your journey through your chosen BSc Nursing or Midwifery programme.  For any queries regarding clinical placement please contact any member of the team.
