This week, the Department of Physics and Energy will be welcoming over 300 Leaving Certificate Physics students from local and regional schools to their Revision Laboratory sessions.
The students will have the opportunity to practice the experiments that will be coming up in their Leaving Certificate exam later in the year. The Revision session is a hands on approach given by the department's technical team and postgraduates to each experiment, with a step by step guide given to each student. This programme has been very successfully run by the department for a number of years, with numbers growing every year and schools booking in September to secure their place. Visiting students will also have the opportunity to meet with postgraduates to discuss the UL programmes offered by the Department of Physics and Energy.
