A cháirde

Mar chuid de Sheachtain na Gaeilge, is mór an onóir do Leabharlann Glucksman, Ollscoil Luimnigh, ceiliúradh a dhéanamh ar scríbhneoirí, ealaíontóirí agus lucht litríochta na Gaeilge.

In celebration of Irish writers during Seachtain na Gaeilge 2022, the library currently has a book display in the entrance foyer featuring novels and poetry in Irish, and some works translated from English to Irish. These books can be borrowed from the library.

One of our librarians, Mícheál Ó hAodha, is an Irish-language poet and writer and he will read bilingually from his latest collection of poetry Leabhar na nAistear III tomorrow at 1pm in Seomra na Gaeilge (LCO-016), Languages Building as part of Aonad na Gaeilge’s Seachtain na Gaeilge programme.

Beathaisnéis/Bio: Mícheál Ó hAodha was born in Galway and grew up between the west of Ireland and the north of England.
