Every Seat Counts - Seat Patrolling & Desk Clearing

The busy period leading up to exams sees an increased demand for library space, to assist with this high demand the library will run the popular ‘Every Seat Counts’ campaign, starting Monday 15th November.

Back for its sixth year and running during this peak period - Every Seat Counts helps to maximise the availability of library study spaces. Desks left unattended for more than 45 minutes may have belongings (including laptops / phones etc.) cleared in to a box, allowing use of the desk by another student, so please take care with the duration of your breaks and do not leave your valuables unattended.

Study spaces are at a premium at this time of year and it is important to give everyone a chance to find a space.

Students are encouraged to use the virtual library of electronic books, journals and online help where possible.  More information on opening hours, collections and services is available on the library website

Contact the library via CHAT or email at libinfo@ul.ie if you need help with material for your assignments / exam prep and check our website for updates to services or follow the library on Instagram or Twitter
