Understanding the cellular and molecular heterogeneity of tumour tissues continues to be a challenge for high-throughput molecular profiling technologies. Spatial transcriptomics can provide the molecular identity of complex tissues consisting of various cell types. This mini-symposium will offer an overview and update of the field by academic and industry leaders.
