It may seem like a lifetime ago that the University of Limerick campus closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. For many of our international students, their time studying at UL was cut short. Prior to the closure of the university campus on March 11th, we spoke to a number of our international student ambassadors about their experiences of studying at UL.
For Jessie, who is studying a BSc. in Biological and Chemical Sciences, the friendliness of Irish people is one of her favourite things about studying in Ireland. Coming from Malaysia, Jessie talks about how welcome she feels at the University of Limerick.
Jessie goes on to talk about the wide range of support services available to students at UL and how these helped her to adapt to studying in a new country. You can read more about the student support services on offer at UL on our website.
