UL International Student Ambassador Programme Launch

The University of Limerick International Student Ambassador Programme launched Monday 12th October in the International Education Division.  The 20 International Student Ambassadors are from 12 different countries including China, India, Russia, Chilie & Germany . The students range from Erasmus, Study Abroad, Exchagne, Ungergraduate and Post Graduate students.  These students will provide approximately three blogs per semester and engage with other ambassadors on the IED student blog. The students will take part in full training as well as technical and editorial support throughout the year.

At the launch of this years programme were very keen to get underway on their blogs. This year the students have decided to make a video showing a snapshot of life on campus. Just under half of the Student Ambassadors have formed a video group, where they will arrange the production of student made videos, showing what life is like in UL. Ambassadors will strive to win the title of International Ambassador of the Year which includes a great prize.

The UL International Student Ambassadors for 2015/16 are Nakala Jennings, Barbara Campos, Casey Kahler, Joni Leffelaer, Rui Fan, Meera Aeshkia, Maddie Snaith, Ana Ramirea, Lidnsay Nygren, Romy Korsch, Valerie Grignon, Precious Lee, Marianne Schoos, Marina Rohrich, Bianca Smith, Emily Schmeling, Xiaoyu Lin, Yulia Velisouls, Emily Marzofka, and Neha Chandra.
