An expert group representing clinical professionals, academic expertise and patient representatives has come together to understand the challenges posed by Type 2 Diabetes in the Midwest.
Two key projects have been identified as central to supporting patients with Type 2 Diabetes. These will explore:
- Gestational Diabetes in the post-partum phase
- Self-management programmes - referral and adherence
