TY student visits - ‘A Taste of University’

Twice annually, the Faculty of Education & Health Science run a two-day programme called ‘A Taste of University.’ During these two days, EHS welcomes 15 transition year (TY) students from a number of schools around the mid-west. The TY students get to sit in on a variety of Education & Health Sciences lectures, these would be from any of our Departments/Schools including, School of Allied Health, School of Education, the Graduate Entry Medical School, Dept. of Nursing & Midwifery, Dept. of Psychology and Dept. of Physical Education & Sport Sciences.  The students also attend a careers talk given by the Cooperative Education & Careers Division and are given a campus tour which includes a tour of our new impressive Library.

The two days gives the students an idea of what it is like to attend the University of Limerick and can often influence their CAO choices.
