Rachel Msetfi is the Executive Dean of the Faculty of Education and Health Sciences and Acting Director of the Health Research Institute (HRI). Rachel is a psychologist and her research interests lie in the areas of cognition and mental health. Along with collaborators in the International Computational Psychopathology group, she studies attention, learning and behaviour in healthy people and vulnerable groups, in order to better understand risk and aetiology, and to inform prevention and intervention using mobile and online technologies.
In her work with the Faculty of EHS, Rachel has been involved in the HRI since its inception and was one of the founding members of the Executive Committee. She has worked closely with the HRI team on developing the Institute’s strategy, and is looking forward to continuing to work with the HRI members and stakeholders.
