Presentation By

Speaker: Tony Zucca, Technical Sales Specialist

NanoString Technologies, Inc

Presentation Title

" Spatially Resolved Transcriptomics with the GeoMx Digital Spatial Profiler

Spatially-Resolved Transcriptomics has been elected as the Nature's Method of the Year 2020, Discover how your peers are pushing the spatial revolution in biological research with the GeoMx Digital Spatial Profiler. Learn how it is possible to analyze the full transcriptome with the GeoMx Whole Transcriptome Atlas (WTA).

Spatial-omics is an expanding collection of methods to examine biological molecules in their geographical context. By retaining the precise location of transcripts or proteins within a tissue, spatial methods can further our understanding of mechanisms in health and disease, in areas including cancer biology, immunology, neuroscience and infectious diseases.

1. Learn how the GeoMx® Digital Spatial Profiler (and WTA) can be used to further the understanding of mechanisms in health and disease.

2. Learn how to analyze protein and RNA from fresh frozen and FFPE tissue slides in high plex with spatial information.

Speaker Profile

Tony has a background in cell and molecular biology with a master's degree from University of Nevada. He has been worked as an application scientist and manager in many science companies including GE, Lumencor and Visiopharm. He has been working with Nanostring as a Technical Sales Specialist for the past year, and today will introduce us to NanoString's powerful Digital Spatial Profiling Platform called GeoMx.
